The library needs to be silent so that the students can study for tests, research for any essays or even do study sessions. If you aren't quiet enough Madam Pince will throw you out. Stay away from restricted section, unless you have a note from a teacher.

The Forbidden forest is, for lack of a better word, forbidden as the name suggests. There are creatures of every kind in here, and some aren't to kind to humans so it's best if you stay out.

Just open plains if one wants to get out into the open air without meeting another student. A couple hills are placed throughout the lawns. During the winter, there are some fantastic places to have a good snowball fight.

Here owls sit here for the residents of Hogsmeade to use, or if you need a super speedy owl they have them here. You could have packages or mailboxes here for whatever means.

something of a tourist attraction in hogsmeade, the shrieking shack is said to be an honest-to-goodness haunted house. nobody goes in there, really, but it's fun to look at from afar.

this friendly little pub run by madam rosmerta is a favorite haunt of hogwarts students from all houses. it's always quite crowded on visiting days.
